What is SCM?
SCM
is a Stock Counting software package which allows you to automate your
stock count and allows you to instantly download the stocktake file and
compare it with your stock file. | |
Concept
SCM
is designed to take stock lists from already installed systems and
allow the audit controller to and manage the stock count by the
assignment of stock count tasks to portable devices such as PDA or
hand held terminals. Once each of the tasks has been completed
reports can be generated to allow analsis of the counted data.
The
portable application within the system is both simple to use and can
connect over a wireless network or be used in batch mode. Once
the device has had it's tasks loaded, the counting of the stock is
validated against a location and product lists, reducing the risk of
error.
